Creativity in the everyday- Mum living

As a mother, life can often feel overwhelming with the countless responsibilities that come with raising children and maintaining a household. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of the things that bring us joy and fulfillment. That's why I believe it's so important to integrate creativity into our everyday lives.

Creativity doesn't have to mean painting a masterpiece or writing a novel. It can be as simple as taking a different route to work, trying a new recipe, or rearranging the furniture in your home. The key is to approach life with an open mind and a willingness to try new things.

One of the best things about incorporating creativity into our daily routines is that it can help to relieve stress and bring us a sense of peace. When we allow ourselves to be present in the moment and let our imaginations run wild, we give ourselves a much-needed break from the demands of everyday life.

For mothers, finding time for creativity can be a challenge. But the truth is, it doesn't have to take up a lot of time. A few minutes of drawing, writing, or even just daydreaming can be enough to refocus and recharge. And the benefits are well worth the effort.

I find that the creative process is a great way to bring my heart and mind into coherence. It allows me to tap into my emotions and connect with my inner self in a way that's not possible through more structured or practical activities.

Incorporating creativity into our everyday lives is a simple yet effective way to bring more joy, peace, and fulfillment into our lives. As mothers, we deserve to take a break from our responsibilities and indulge in a little bit of self-care. So, why not give it a try? You might just be surprised at how much it can improve your overall well-being.

The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt. ~ Sylvia Plath
